Gloria received her degree on Computing Sciences from the National University of Colombia, in 2000. From 2001 to 2003, she joined the Technological Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications of Telecom (ITEC-Telecom) participating in the development of a telemedicine pilot project. In January 2005 she joined the Telemedicine Centre as development engineer. She is currently working for her PhD thesis at the same University under the supervision of Pr Romero. Her research focuses on semantical analysis of histopathological images.
