Katherine was born in Bogotá. She graduated as Electronical Engineer in 2010 at Universidad Distrital "Francisco José de Caldas". Actually she finished her master studies at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Her master´s thesis is "Detection of the Default Mode Network (DMN) in functional Magnetic Resonance Images (fMRI) disturbed by head motion". Her principal interests are signal/image processing and neuroimaging.
